THE FACE OF THE CAMPAIGN

THE FACE OF THE CAMPAIGN

The 2020 Presidential Election is an extraordinary opportunity to engage and participate in the American political imagination. Who is currently in power and who will become our next public servants? What are the faces of American political authority? Who will capture the hearts and minds of the American public? When will the public make their determination and how will they come to make their decision?

With camera in hand, I am passionate, enthusiastic and honorably objective. I approach the campaign trail with tremendous curiosity and respect. The face is the narrative–the story of the face and the face of the story–the enigma behind the mask.

“Above all, I craved to seize, in the confines of one single photograph, the whole essence of some situation that was in the process of unrolling itself before my eyes.”

-Henri Cartier-Bresson, The Decisive Moment

As events unfold, I am devoted to communicating honest impressions. There is purpose in becoming present–open to the moment–responsive to human interaction and political phenomena.
